Description | Oceanapamine belongs to the class of organic compounds known as sesquiterpenoids. These are terpenes with three consecutive isoprene units. 2-{5-[(2e)-5-[(1r)-2,2-dimethyl-6-methylidenecyclohexyl]-3-methylpent-2-en-1-yl]-3h-imidazol-4-yl}ethanamine was first documented in 1995 (PMID: 7769396). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on oceanapamine. |
