| Description | Viteoid II belongs to the class of organic compounds known as delta valerolactones. These are cyclic organic compounds containing an oxan-2- one moiety. (4ar,5r)-5-hydroxy-7-(hydroxymethyl)-3h,4h,4ah,5h,6h-cyclopenta[c]pyran-1-one is found in Vitex cymosa and Vitex trifolia. (4ar,5r)-5-hydroxy-7-(hydroxymethyl)-3h,4h,4ah,5h,6h-cyclopenta[c]pyran-1-one was first documented in 2003 (PMID: 12895535). Based on a literature review a small amount of articles have been published on Viteoid II (PMID: 32816150) (PMID: 31429297). |
