DescriptionViridoxin B belongs to the class of organic compounds known as diterpenoids. These are terpene compounds formed by four isoprene units. (1s,2s,4ar,5r,8ar)-5-[(2-methoxy-5,6-dimethyl-4-oxopyran-3-yl)methyl]-1,4a-dimethyl-6-methylidene-1-(4-methylpent-3-en-1-yl)-hexahydro-2h-naphthalen-2-yl (2r)-2-hydroxy-4-methylpentanoate is found in Metarhizium flavoviride. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Viridoxin B.
