Oxanes are compounds containing an oxane (tetrahydropyran) ring, which is a six-member saturated aliphatic heterocycle with one oxygen atom and five carbon atoms. (2r,3s,5s,6r)-2-ethyl-2-hydroxy-3,5-dimethyl-6-[(2e,4r)-4-methylhept-2-en-2-yl]oxan-4-one is found in Siphonaria australis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2R,3S,5S,6R)-2-ethyl-2-hydroxy-3,5-dimethyl-6-[(2E,4R)-4-methylhept-2-en-2-yl]oxan-4-one. |
