DescriptionDeisopropylngaione, also known as din toxin, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as heteroaromatic compounds. Heteroaromatic compounds are compounds containing an aromatic ring where a carbon atom is linked to an hetero atom. 1-[(2r,5s)-5-(furan-3-yl)-2-methyloxolan-2-yl]propan-2-one is found in Eremophila deserti. 1-[(2r,5s)-5-(furan-3-yl)-2-methyloxolan-2-yl]propan-2-one was first documented in 1985 (PMID: 3989217). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Deisopropylngaione.
