| Description | 3,8-Dihydroxy-4',5,5',5',19-pentamethyl-17,20-dioxaspiro[hexacyclo[14.5.1.0¹,¹⁴.0⁴,¹³.0⁵,¹⁰.0¹⁹,²²]Docosane-18,2'-oxolane]-21-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as furospirostanes and derivatives. These are heterocyclic steroids containing a furospirostane moiety, which a skeleton characterized by the presence of a 1,6-dioxaspiro[4.4]Nonane ring system and an androstane moiety. 3,8-dihydroxy-4',5,5',5',19-pentamethyl-17,20-dioxaspiro[hexacyclo[14.5.1.0¹,¹⁴.0⁴,¹³.0⁵,¹⁰.0¹⁹,²²]docosane-18,2'-oxolan]-21-one is found in Isis hippuris. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 3,8-dihydroxy-4',5,5',5',19-pentamethyl-17,20-dioxaspiro[hexacyclo[14.5.1.0¹,¹⁴.0⁴,¹³.0⁵,¹⁰.0¹⁹,²²]Docosane-18,2'-oxolane]-21-one. |
