DescriptionBisaborosaol A belongs to the class of organic compounds known as sesquiterpenoids. These are terpenes with three consecutive isoprene units. methyl (4r)-4-[(2s)-2-hydroxy-6-methylhept-5-en-2-yl]cyclohex-1-ene-1-carboxylate is found in Rosa rugosa. methyl (4r)-4-[(2s)-2-hydroxy-6-methylhept-5-en-2-yl]cyclohex-1-ene-1-carboxylate was first documented in 2000 (PMID: 10830519). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Bisaborosaol A (PMID: 11676018).
