| Description | Cyanidin 3-O-(2-O-beta-D-glucuronosyl)-beta-D-glucoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as anthocyanidin-3-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing one anthocyanidin moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to a carbohydrate moiety at the C3-position. Thus, cyanidin 3-O-(2-O-beta-D-glucuronosyl)-beta-D-glucoside is considered to be a flavonoid. Cyanidin 3-O-(2-O-beta-D-glucuronosyl)-beta-D-glucoside is a primary metabolite. Primary metabolites are metabolically or physiologically essential metabolites. They are directly involved in an organism’s growth, development or reproduction. 3-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3-{[(2r,3r,4s,5s,6s)-6-carboxy-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-4,5-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-5,7-dihydroxy-1λ⁴-chromen-1-ylium is found in Apis cerana. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on cyanidin 3-O-(2-O-beta-D-glucuronosyl)-beta-D-glucoside. |
