| Description | Methynolide belongs to the class of organic compounds known as macrolides and analogues. These are organic compounds containing a lactone ring of at least twelve members. (3r,4s,5s,7r,9e,11s,12r)-12-ethyl-4,11-dihydroxy-3,5,7,11-tetramethyl-1-oxacyclododec-9-ene-2,8-dione is found in Streptomyces venezuelae. (3r,4s,5s,7r,9e,11s,12r)-12-ethyl-4,11-dihydroxy-3,5,7,11-tetramethyl-1-oxacyclododec-9-ene-2,8-dione was first documented in 2007 (PMID: 17602529). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Methynolide (PMID: 19830295). |
