These are polycyclic aromatic compounds containing a naphthalene moiety linked to an isoquinoline through a CC or CN single bond. (1r,3s)-7-(4,5-dimethoxy-2-methylnaphthalen-1-yl)-8-methoxy-1,3-dimethyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinolin-6-ol is found in Ancistrocladus robertsoniorum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Ancistrobertsonine D. |
