These are monoterpenoids containing exactly 2 rings, which are fused to each other. (4r,4as,6r,7s,7ar)-2,4,7-trimethyl-octahydrocyclopenta[c]pyridin-6-yl (2e,6s)-8-hydroxy-2,6-dimethyloct-2-enoate is found in Incarvillea sinensis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (4R,4aS,6R,7S,7aR)-2,4,7-trimethyl-octahydro-1H-cyclopenta[c]pyridin-6-yl (2E,6S)-8-hydroxy-2,6-dimethyloct-2-enoate.
