Description | (2R)-2alpha-(3,4-Dihydroxyphenyl)-3beta-(beta-D-rhamnopyranosyloxy)-5,7-dihydroxy-2,3-dihydro-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-3-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C3-position. (2r,3r)-2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-5,7-dihydroxy-3-{[(2s,3s,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}-2,3-dihydro-1-benzopyran-4-one is found in Astilbe thunbergii, Durio zibethinus and Hymenaea martiana. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2R)-2alpha-(3,4-Dihydroxyphenyl)-3beta-(beta-D-rhamnopyranosyloxy)-5,7-dihydroxy-2,3-dihydro-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one. |
