DescriptionPSEUDOLARIC ACID C, also known as pseudolarate C, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as diterpene lactones. These are diterpenoids containing a lactone moiety. (2e,4e)-5-[(1r,7s,8r,9r)-7-hydroxy-4-(methoxycarbonyl)-9-methyl-11-oxo-10-oxatricyclo[6.3.2.0¹,⁷]tridec-3-en-9-yl]-2-methylpenta-2,4-dienoic acid is found in Larix kaempferi and Pseudolarix amabilis. (2e,4e)-5-[(1r,7s,8r,9r)-7-hydroxy-4-(methoxycarbonyl)-9-methyl-11-oxo-10-oxatricyclo[6.3.2.0¹,⁷]tridec-3-en-9-yl]-2-methylpenta-2,4-dienoic acid was first documented in 2009 (PMID: 19918938). Based on a literature review a small amount of articles have been published on PSEUDOLARIC ACID C (PMID: 22424731) (PMID: 25322560).
