These are sterol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically linked to the steroid skeleton. 1-[(3as,3br,7s,9ar,9bs,11as)-7-{[(2r,3s,4s,5s,6s)-4,5-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)-3-{[(2s,3r,4s,5r,6s)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}oxan-2-yl]oxy}-9a,11a-dimethyl-3h,3ah,3bh,4h,6h,7h,8h,9h,9bh,10h,11h-cyclopenta[a]phenanthren-1-yl]ethanone is found in Dioscorea spongiosa. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 1-[(1S,2R,5S,10R,11S,15S)-5-{[(2R,3S,4S,5S,6S)-4,5-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)-3-{[(2S,3R,4S,5R,6S)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}oxan-2-yl]oxy}-2,15-dimethyltetracyclo[8.7.0.0²,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁵]Heptadeca-7,13-dien-14-yl]ethan-1-one. |
