Pyranones and derivatives are compounds containing a pyran ring which bears a ketone. 6-(3-hydroxybutan-2-yl)-5-(hydroxymethyl)-4-methoxypyran-2-one is found in Fusarium tricinctum. 6-(3-hydroxybutan-2-yl)-5-(hydroxymethyl)-4-methoxypyran-2-one was first documented in 2006 (PMID: 16908037). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Chlamydospordiol. |
