These are polycyclic aromatic compounds containing an indole fused to a carbazole. (2r,4s,5r,6s)-5-methoxy-6-methyl-4-(methylamino)-29-oxa-1,7,17-triazaoctacyclo[12.12.2.1²,⁶.0⁷,²⁸.0⁸,¹³.0¹⁵,¹⁹.0²⁰,²⁷.0²¹,²⁶]nonacosa-8(13),9,11,14(28),15(19),17,20(27),21(26),22,24-decaene-9,18-diol is found in Leucojum vernum and Pancratium sickenbergeri.
