Description | [(2R,3R,4aR,6aR,6bS,8aR,11R,12R,12aR,14aR,14bR)-2,3-bis(acetyloxy)-4-[(acetyloxy)methyl]-12-hydroxy-6a,6b,8a,11,12,14b-hexamethyl-1,2,3,4,4a,5,6,6a,6b,7,8,8a,9,10,11,12,12a,14,14a,14b-icosahydropicen-4-yl]methyl acetate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as triterpenoids. These are terpene molecules containing six isoprene units. [(2r,3r,4ar,6ar,6bs,8ar,11r,12r,12ar,14ar,14br)-2,3-bis(acetyloxy)-4-[(acetyloxy)methyl]-12-hydroxy-6a,6b,8a,11,12,14b-hexamethyl-1,2,3,4a,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12a,14,14a-tetradecahydropicen-4-yl]methyl acetate is found in Rudgea viburnoides. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on [(2R,3R,4aR,6aR,6bS,8aR,11R,12R,12aR,14aR,14bR)-2,3-bis(acetyloxy)-4-[(acetyloxy)methyl]-12-hydroxy-6a,6b,8a,11,12,14b-hexamethyl-1,2,3,4,4a,5,6,6a,6b,7,8,8a,9,10,11,12,12a,14,14a,14b-icosahydropicen-4-yl]methyl acetate. |
