| Description | 5,6-Dihydroxy-5,6-dimethyl-4-methylidene-7-(propan-2-yl)-3-oxa-13-azatricyclo[8.5.1.0¹³,¹⁶]Hexadec-1(15)-en-8-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as pyrrolizines. Pyrrolizines are compounds containing a pyrrolizine moiety, which consists of a pyrrole ring fused to a pyrrolidine ring. 5,6-dihydroxy-7-isopropyl-5,6-dimethyl-4-methylidene-3-oxa-13-azatricyclo[8.5.1.0¹³,¹⁶]hexadec-1(15)-en-8-one is found in Crotalaria aegyptiaca, Crotalaria globifera, Crotalaria recta, Crotalaria sessiliflora and Trichodesma incanum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 5,6-dihydroxy-5,6-dimethyl-4-methylidene-7-(propan-2-yl)-3-oxa-13-azatricyclo[8.5.1.0¹³,¹⁶]Hexadec-1(15)-en-8-one. |
