| Description | (1S,2E,4R,5S,8E)-4-(acetyloxy)-2,8-dimethyl-5-(propan-2-yl)cyclodeca-2,8-dien-1-yl (2Z)-2-methylbut-2-enoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as germacrane sesquiterpenoids. These are sesquiterpenoids having the germacrane skeleton, with a structure characterized by a cyclodecane ring substituted with an isopropyl and two methyl groups. (1s,2e,4r,5s,8e)-4-(acetyloxy)-5-isopropyl-2,8-dimethylcyclodeca-2,8-dien-1-yl (2z)-2-methylbut-2-enoate is found in Curio ficoides and Senecio crassissimus. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1S,2E,4R,5S,8E)-4-(acetyloxy)-2,8-dimethyl-5-(propan-2-yl)cyclodeca-2,8-dien-1-yl (2Z)-2-methylbut-2-enoate. |
