DescriptionUrceolatol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as polybrominated biphenyls. These are organic aromatic compounds containing a biphenyl moiety, which is substituted at two or more ring positions by a bromine atom. urceolatol is found in Polysiphonia stricta and Polysiphonia urceolata. urceolatol was first documented in 2006 (PMID: 16864451). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on urceolatol (PMID: 18088100).
