| Description | (5Alpha,8alpha,9S,10beta)-2alpha-Hydroxy-15,16-epoxycleroda-3,13(16),14-triene-19-oic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as colensane and clerodane diterpenoids. These are diterpenoids with a structure based on the clerodane or the colensane skeleton. Clerodanes arise from labdanes by two methyl migrations. (3r,4ar,5s,6r,8ar)-5-[2-(furan-3-yl)ethyl]-3-hydroxy-5,6,8a-trimethyl-3,4,4a,6,7,8-hexahydronaphthalene-1-carboxylic acid is found in Duranta erecta. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (5alpha,8alpha,9S,10beta)-2alpha-Hydroxy-15,16-epoxycleroda-3,13(16),14-triene-19-oic acid. |
