Furan is a 6 membered-ring non-aromatic ring with five carbon and one oxygen atoms. Naphthalene is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon made up of two fused benzene rings. (1s,6r,9r,12s,16r)-6-ethenyl-1,12-dimethyl-5,10-dioxatetracyclo[7.6.1.0²,⁷.0¹²,¹⁶]hexadeca-2,7-diene-4,11-dione is found in Podocarpus macrophyllus. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Makilactone A. |
