These are lignans with a structure based on the 1-phenyltetralin skeleton. 1-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-6,7-dihydroxy-n-[2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethyl]-3-{[2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethyl]carbamoyl}-1,2-dihydronaphthalene-2-carboximidic acid is found in Cannabis sativa, Tetragonia tetragonoides and Xylopia aethiopica. 1-(3,4-Dihydroxyphenyl)-6,7-dihydroxy-N-[2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethyl]-3-{[2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethyl]carbamoyl}-1,2-dihydronaphthalene-2-carboximidic acid is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
