These are sesquiterpene lactones from the Ambrosia family, with a backbone derivative of azuleno[6,5-b]furan-2-one (ambrosanolides) or azuleno[4,5-b]furan-2-one (secoambrosanolides). (3s,3ar,4as,5s,7as,8s,9ar)-5-hydroxy-4a-(hydroxymethyl)-3,8-dimethyl-decahydroazuleno[6,5-b]furan-2-one is found in Rudbeckia mollis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 11alphaH,13-Dihydrorudmollin. |
