| Description | Acetoxyedulinine belongs to the class of organic compounds known as hydroquinolones. Hydroquinolones are compounds containing a hydrogenated quinoline bearing a ketone group. (2s)-3-hydroxy-1-(4-methoxy-1-methyl-2-oxoquinolin-3-yl)-3-methylbutan-2-yl acetate is found in Skimmia laureola. (2s)-3-hydroxy-1-(4-methoxy-1-methyl-2-oxoquinolin-3-yl)-3-methylbutan-2-yl acetate was first documented in 1998 (PMID: 9644052). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Acetoxyedulinine. |
