Fatty acyl glycosides of mono- and disaccharides are compounds composed of a mono- or disaccharide moiety linked to one hydroxyl group of a fatty alcohol or of a phosphorylated alcohol (phosphoprenols), a hydroxy fatty acid or to one carboxyl group of a fatty acid (ester linkage) or to an amino alcohol. (2s,3r,4s,5r,6s)-6-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-2-{[(3r)-3,7-dimethylocta-1,6-dien-3-yl]oxy}-4,5-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-3-yl]oxy}-4,5-dihydroxy-2-methyloxan-3-yl (2e,6r)-6-hydroxy-2,6-dimethylocta-2,7-dienoate is found in Viburnum orientale. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2S,3R,4S,5R,6S)-6-{[(2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-2-{[(3R)-3,7-dimethylocta-1,6-dien-3-yl]oxy}-4,5-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-3-yl]oxy}-4,5-dihydroxy-2-methyloxan-3-yl (2E,6R)-6-hydroxy-2,6-dimethylocta-2,7-dienoate. |
