| Common Name | 3,5-dihydroxy-4-[(1r,2r,5s)-2-hydroxy-2-methyl-5-(prop-1-en-2-yl)cyclohexyl]-6,6-bis(3-methylbut-2-en-1-yl)-2-(2-methylbutanoyl)cyclohexa-2,4-dien-1-one |
|---|
| Description | CHEMBL3581591 belongs to the class of organic compounds known as menthane monoterpenoids. These are monoterpenoids with a structure based on the o-, m-, or p-menthane backbone. P-menthane consists of the cyclohexane ring with a methyl group and a (2-methyl)-propyl group at the 1 and 4 ring position, respectively. The o- and m- menthanes are much rarer, and presumably arise by alkyl migration of p-menthanes. 3,5-dihydroxy-4-[(1r,2r,5s)-2-hydroxy-2-methyl-5-(prop-1-en-2-yl)cyclohexyl]-6,6-bis(3-methylbut-2-en-1-yl)-2-(2-methylbutanoyl)cyclohexa-2,4-dien-1-one is found in Hypericum henryi. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on CHEMBL3581591. |
