| Description | 10-{(1E)-2-[3-((2Z)But-2-enyl)oxiran-2-yl]vinyl}oxecan-2-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as lactones. These are cyclic esters of hydroxy carboxylic acids, containing a 1-oxacycloalkan-2-one structure, or analogues having unsaturation or heteroatoms replacing one or more carbon atoms of the ring. 10-[(1e)-2-[(2s,3s)-3-[(2z)-but-2-en-1-yl]oxiran-2-yl]ethenyl]oxecan-2-one is found in Aphanizomenon flos-aquae. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 10-{(1E)-2-[3-((2Z)But-2-enyl)oxiran-2-yl]vinyl}oxecan-2-one. |
