These are polycyclic aromatic compounds containing a tetralin moiety, which consists of a benzene fused to a cyclohexane. (1s,9r,12r)-4-hydroxy-5-isopropyl-1,11,11-trimethyl-8,10-dioxotricyclo[7.3.1.0²,⁷]trideca-2(7),3,5-triene-12-carbaldehyde is found in Chamaecyparis obtusa. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Obtusanal B. |
