These are diterpenoids with a structure based a cembrane skeleton, which is characterized by the presence of an isopropyl group at C-1 and by three symmetrically disposed methyl groups a the t C-4, -8 and -12 positions. (1s,2e,4s,7e,11e,14r)-1-isopropyl-4,8,12-trimethyl-15-oxabicyclo[12.1.0]pentadeca-2,7,11-trien-4-ol is found in Sarcophyton glaucum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1S,2E,4S,7E,11E,14R)-4,8,12-trimethyl-1-(propan-2-yl)-15-oxabicyclo[12.1.0]Pentadeca-2,7,11-trien-4-ol. |
