| Description | 1,10A-Dihydroxy-3a,8,10b-trimethyl-8-vinyl-2,3,3a,4,9,10,10a,10b-octahydro-1H-phenanthro[10,1-bc]furan-6(8H)-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as naphthofurans. Naphthofurans are compounds containing a furan ring fused to a naphthalene moiety. Furan is a 5 membered- ring aromatic ring with four carbon and one oxygen atoms. Naphthalene is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon made up of two fused benzene rings. 5-ethenyl-2,15-dihydroxy-1,5,12-trimethyl-10-oxatetracyclo[7.6.1.0²,⁷.0¹²,¹⁶]hexadeca-6,9(16)-dien-8-one is found in Arthrinium sacchari. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 1,10a-Dihydroxy-3a,8,10b-trimethyl-8-vinyl-2,3,3a,4,9,10,10a,10b-octahydro-1H-phenanthro[10,1-bc]furan-6(8H)-one. |
