| Description | (22E,24R)-3beta,5,6beta-Trihydroxy-5alpha-ergost-22-en-7-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as ergosterols and derivatives. These are steroids containing ergosta-5,7,22-trien-3beta-ol or a derivative thereof, which is based on the 3beta-hydroxylated ergostane skeleton. (1r,3as,3bs,5s,5ar,7s,9ar,9bs,11ar)-1-[(2r,3e,5r)-5,6-dimethylhept-3-en-2-yl]-5,5a,7-trihydroxy-9a,11a-dimethyl-dodecahydro-1h-cyclopenta[a]phenanthren-4-one is found in Grifola frondosa. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (22E,24R)-3beta,5,6beta-Trihydroxy-5alpha-ergost-22-en-7-one. |
