Description(1S,3Z,7E,11S,12S)-(+)-verticilla-3,7-dien-12,20-diol 20-acetate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as diterpenoids. These are terpene compounds formed by four isoprene units. [(1s,3z,7e,11s,12s)-12-hydroxy-8,12,15,15-tetramethylbicyclo[9.3.1]pentadeca-3,7-dien-4-yl]methyl acetate is found in Bursera suntui. [(1s,3z,7e,11s,12s)-12-hydroxy-8,12,15,15-tetramethylbicyclo[9.3.1]pentadeca-3,7-dien-4-yl]methyl acetate was first documented in 2005 (PMID: 16309306). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1S,3Z,7E,11S,12S)-(+)-verticilla-3,7-dien-12,20-diol 20-acetate.
