Chromones are compounds containing a benzopyran-4-one moiety. leptorumol is found in Arachniodes miqueliana, Pisonia aculeata and Trianthema portulacastrum. leptorumol was first documented in 1968 (PMID: 5751282). Leptorumol is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa) (PMID: 23055639).
