Description1Beta-hydroxylilicic acid, also known as 1b-hydroxylilicate, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as eudesmane, isoeudesmane or cycloeudesmane sesquiterpenoids. These are sesquiterpenoids with a structure based on the eudesmane skeleton. 2-[(2r,4ar,5r,8r,8ar)-5,8-dihydroxy-4a,8-dimethyl-octahydronaphthalen-2-yl]prop-2-enoic acid is found in Laggera alata. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 1beta-hydroxylilicic acid.
