Description(5-{[4,5-Dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)-2-[4-(hydroxymethyl)phenoxy]oxan-3-yl]oxy}-3,4-dihydroxyoxolan-3-yl)methyl 4-aminobenzoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as phenolic glycosides. Among the sugar units found in natural glycosides are D-glucose, L-Fructose, and L rhamnose (5-{[4,5-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)-2-[4-(hydroxymethyl)phenoxy]oxan-3-yl]oxy}-3,4-dihydroxyoxolan-3-yl)methyl 4-aminobenzoate is a moderately basic compound (based on its pKa).
