Coumarans are compounds containing the coumaran skeleton, which consists of a benzene ring fused to a 2,3-dihydrofuran ring. 5-[2-hydroxy-5-(prop-2-en-1-yl)phenyl]-7,12-bis(prop-2-en-1-yl)-8-oxatricyclo[7.4.0.0²,⁷]trideca-1(13),5,9,11-tetraen-4-one is found in Illicium dunnianum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 5-[2-hydroxy-5-(prop-2-en-1-yl)phenyl]-7,12-bis(prop-2-en-1-yl)-8-oxatricyclo[7.4.0.0²,⁷]Trideca-1(9),5,10,12-tetraen-4-one. |
