Description5-[13-(Furan-3-yl)-2,6,10-trimethyltrideca-5,9-dien-1-ylidene]-4-methoxy-3-methyl-2,5-dihydrofuran-2-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as diterpene lactones. These are diterpenoids containing a lactone moiety. 5-[13-(furan-3-yl)-2,6,10-trimethyltrideca-5,9-dien-1-ylidene]-4-methoxy-3-methylfuran-2-one is found in Ircinia oros. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 5-[13-(furan-3-yl)-2,6,10-trimethyltrideca-5,9-dien-1-ylidene]-4-methoxy-3-methyl-2,5-dihydrofuran-2-one.
