These are lipid molecules containing a sphingosine in which the amine group is linked to a fatty acid. Thus, cer(D16:1/23:0) Is considered to be a ceramide. n-[(2s,3r,4e)-1,3-dihydroxyhexadec-4-en-2-yl]tricosanimidic acid is found in Anneissia japonica. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Cer(d16:1/23:0). |
