| Description | Viscidulin III 2'-glucoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 8-o-methylated flavonoids. These are flavonoids with methoxy groups attached to the C8 atom of the flavonoid backbone. Thus, viscidulin III 2'-glucoside is considered to be a flavonoid. 5,7-dihydroxy-2-(3-hydroxy-2-methoxy-6-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}phenyl)-8-methoxychromen-4-one is found in Scutellaria baicalensis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Viscidulin III 2'-glucoside. |
