| Description | (6-{[(1R,2S,3R,5S,6R,8S)-2-[(benzoyloxy)methyl]-6-hydroxy-8-methyl-9,10-dioxatetracyclo[4.3.1.0²,⁵.0³,⁸]Decan-3-yl]oxy}-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl)methyl 3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as terpene glycosides. These are prenol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically bound to a terpene backbone. (6-{[(1r,2s,3r,5s,6r,8s)-2-[(benzoyloxy)methyl]-6-hydroxy-8-methyl-9,10-dioxatetracyclo[4.3.1.0²,⁵.0³,⁸]decan-3-yl]oxy}-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl)methyl 3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoate is found in Paeonia lactiflora, Paeonia obovata and Paeonia suffruticosa. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (6-{[(1R,2S,3R,5S,6R,8S)-2-[(benzoyloxy)methyl]-6-hydroxy-8-methyl-9,10-dioxatetracyclo[4.3.1.0²,⁵.0³,⁸]Decan-3-yl]oxy}-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl)methyl 3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoate. |
