| Description | 6-[(7R)-4,7-dihydroxy-5-oxo-2-propyl-5,6,7,8-tetrahydronaphthalen-1-yl]-4-hydroxy-2H-pyran-2-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as tetralins. These are polycyclic aromatic compounds containing a tetralin moiety, which consists of a benzene fused to a cyclohexane. 6-[(7r)-4,7-dihydroxy-5-oxo-2-propyl-7,8-dihydro-6h-naphthalen-1-yl]-4-hydroxypyran-2-one is found in Streptomyces phaeochromogenes. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 6-[(7R)-4,7-dihydroxy-5-oxo-2-propyl-5,6,7,8-tetrahydronaphthalen-1-yl]-4-hydroxy-2H-pyran-2-one. |
