Naphthopyrans are compounds containing a pyran ring fused to a naphthalene moiety. Furan is a 6 membered-ring non-aromatic ring with five carbon and one oxygen atoms. Naphthalene is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon made up of two fused benzene rings. (1s,2r,13r,16s,17s,19r,20s,22r,25s)-1,2,24,24-tetramethyl-22-(2-methylprop-1-en-1-yl)-18,21,23,26-tetraoxa-4-azaoctacyclo[14.13.0.0²,¹³.0³,¹¹.0⁵,¹⁰.0¹⁷,¹⁹.0¹⁷,²⁷.0²⁰,²⁵]nonacosa-3(11),5,7,9,27-pentaen-16-ol is found in Albophoma yamanashiensis.
