Description(4Aalpha,8aalpha)-1alpha,2,3,4,4a,5,6,8a-Octahydro-7-methyl-4-methylene-1-(1-methylethyl)naphthalene belongs to the class of organic compounds known as sesquiterpenoids. These are terpenes with three consecutive isoprene units. (4r,4ar,8as)-4-isopropyl-6-methyl-1-methylidene-3,4,4a,7,8,8a-hexahydro-2h-naphthalene is found in Anthemis aciphylla, Cedrus libani, Cryptomeria japonica, Frullania incumbens, Leptospermum scoparium, Piper fimbriulatum and Zingiber officinale. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (4aalpha,8aalpha)-1alpha,2,3,4,4a,5,6,8a-Octahydro-7-methyl-4-methylene-1-(1-methylethyl)naphthalene.
