| Description | 2-(3,4-Dihydroxyphenyl)-5,7-dihydroxy-3-{[(2S,3R,4R,5S,6R)-4,5,6-trihydroxy-2-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-3-yl]oxy}-4H-chromen-4-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavones. These are flavonoids with a structure based on the backbone of 2-phenylchromen-4-one (2-phenyl-1-benzopyran-4-one). 2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-5,7-dihydroxy-3-{[(2s,3r,4r,5s,6r)-4,5,6-trihydroxy-2-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-3-yl]oxy}chromen-4-one is found in Parthenocissus tricuspidata. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-5,7-dihydroxy-3-{[(2S,3R,4R,5S,6R)-4,5,6-trihydroxy-2-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-3-yl]oxy}-4H-chromen-4-one. |
