These are steroids containing ergosta-5,7,22-trien-3beta-ol or a derivative thereof, which is based on the 3beta-hydroxylated ergostane skeleton. (1r,3ar,5r,5as,7s,9as,9bs,11ar)-1-[(2r,3e,5s)-5,6-dimethylhept-3-en-2-yl]-9a,11a-dimethyl-1h,2h,3h,3ah,5h,5ah,6h,7h,8h,9h,10h,11h-cyclopenta[a]phenanthrene-5,7,9b-triol is found in Dendronephthya gigantea. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1S,2S,5S,7S,8R,11R,14R,15R)-14-[(2R,3E,5S)-5,6-dimethylhept-3-en-2-yl]-2,15-dimethyltetracyclo[8.7.0.0²,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁵]Heptadec-9-ene-1,5,8-triol. |
