DescriptionAigialomycin B belongs to the class of organic compounds known as anisoles. These are organic compounds containing a methoxybenzene or a derivative thereof. (2r,4r,6s,7s,8s,9e,12s)-6,7,8,16-tetrahydroxy-18-methoxy-12-methyl-3,13-dioxatricyclo[13.4.0.0²,⁴]nonadeca-1(19),9,15,17-tetraen-14-one is found in Aigialus parvus. (2r,4r,6s,7s,8s,9e,12s)-6,7,8,16-tetrahydroxy-18-methoxy-12-methyl-3,13-dioxatricyclo[13.4.0.0²,⁴]nonadeca-1(19),9,15,17-tetraen-14-one was first documented in 2021 (PMID: 33348408). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on aigialomycin B.
