These are flavonoids with methoxy groups attached to the C6 atom of the flavonoid backbone. 5-hydroxy-7-{[5-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-6-methoxy-4-oxochromen-7-yl]oxy}-2-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-6-methoxychromen-4-one is found in Lippia alba. 5-Hydroxy-7-{[5-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-6-methoxy-4-oxo-4H-chromen-7-yl]oxy}-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-6-methoxy-4H-chromen-4-one is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa). |
