DescriptionAsperparaline A, also known as aspergillimide, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as azaspirodecane derivatives. These are organic compounds containing a spirodecane moiety with at least one nitrogen atom. (1'r,3s,3's,7'r,12's)-1,4',4',12',14'-pentamethyl-9',14'-diazaspiro[pyrrolidine-3,5'-tetracyclo[5.5.2.0¹,⁹.0³,⁷]tetradecane]-2,5,13'-trione was first documented in 2003 (PMID: 14640629). Based on a literature review a small amount of articles have been published on Asperparaline A (PMID: 30363149) (PMID: 21483774).
