DescriptionKaempferol 3,4'-diglucoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-3-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C3-position. Thus, kaempferol 3,4'-diglucoside is considered to be a flavonoid. 5,7-dihydroxy-3-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-2-(4-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}phenyl)chromen-4-one is found in Allium tuberosum, Allium victorialis, Astragalus complanatus, Crocus antalyensis, Helichrysum arenarium, Picea abies, Picea neoveitchii, Pinalia floribunda and Wisteria floribunda. Based on a literature review a small amount of articles have been published on Kaempferol 3,4'-diglucoside.
